Students operate and analyze fire detection and water-based sprinkler systems. They test and inspect systems as per CAN/ULC-S536 and NFPA 25. Students complete wiring projects on fire alarm systems, and perform monthly and annual inspections of fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers and emergency lighting.
