Human Pathophysiology

This course will explore the general concepts of pathophysiology and patterns of disease, using specific diseases as examples. It does not deal specifically with oral pathology, although concepts and diseases discussed will have relevance to dentistry. Mechanisms of disease will be studied by systems and will be examined for the effect they produce on the structure and function of the body.
