Portrait Photography

Portrait photography accounts for a large amount of work in any segment of the photography industry. From retail portrait studios to the commercial field, where many assignments are portrait based, this type of photography provides a primary source of income for many professional photographers. Students will explore a variety of portrait styles with particular attention paid to advanced skill application both on location and in a studio environment. This course emphasizes posing and client direction along with diverse lighting techniques, controls and lighting patterns.
