Early Childhood Education Field Placement III & Seminar

This course consists of 245 hours of field placement. In this placement, students continue to apply their knowledge and skills working with children and families in a mentored environment. Students are placed in a variety of settings in the community and may also be placed in alternative programs.

Notes:

All students wishing to apply for a PPL field placement, must request activation before the paperwork modules close, and submit any required documentation by the posted deadline. We recommend students begin this process as soon as the activation period opens. All deadlines are posted on the PPL field placement webpage.

All prerequisite requirements must be verified in order to be granted approval to register for this course. Students must send an email to pplplacements@durhamcollege.ca including your name and ID number requesting permission to register for this course.

Special Prerequisite: Students must successfully complete all other courses in this program and have a GPA of 2.0 prior to registering for this placement.
