Roadmap to DC's strategic plan Over the past five years, our Strategic Plan has guided our work at Durham College (DC). As it concludes in March 2025, we're preparing a new Plan that will launch this spring. Over the past five months, we have engaged in an inclusive, collaborative process to develop a forward-thinking plan defining our mission, vision, values, goals, and objectives. This effort involved hearing directly from our students, employees, Board of Governors, alumni, donors, and community and industry partners about how we could address the evolving needs and shifts in higher education. Together these voices and perspectives will inform the roadmap for DC's future, ensuring it is sustainable, future-proof, equity-driven, people-focused and community-connected. Learn more WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO In January, we hosted six Visioning Sessions around the key themes that emerged from our broad engagement efforts in the fall. These conversations focused on Stepping Fully into Our Role as Durham’s College; Embedding Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Into All We Do; Attracting and Catering to the Learners of Tomorrow; Fulfilling the DC Promise; and High-Performance Sustainable Workplace.
